Apona Lohit#

Apona Lohit is an enhanced version of the Lohit font from Ekushey, featuring additional hinting for improved screen readability. It serves as a Unicode equivalent to the popular Boishakhi font. The TrueType hinting was initiated by Ershadul Haq and later refined by Alamgir Mohammed.

The font is distributed as free software under the GNU General Public License (GPL) version 2 or later, allowing users to freely redistribute and modify it according to the terms set forth by the Free Software Foundation.
